Privacy Policy
This page explains which personal data we – Logoscript Media & Marketing GmbH – process on this website, why we do so, and what rights you have.
Controller
The controller for this processing is Logoscript Media & Marketing GmbH, Robert-Bunsen-Str. 75, 65428 Rüsselsheim am Main, Germany. Email: info@logoscript.de. Further details are given in the imprint.
Contact form
When you fill in the contact form, your name, company name, email address, telephone number and message reach us and are stored in our database. We use this information solely to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not ask for your consent; this processing is not based on consent.
Protection against misuse
To prevent misuse of the form we do not store your IP address or browser data in plain form. We derive an irreversible checksum from them and store only that; it is enough to recognise repeated submissions but not to identify you. The identification string your browser sends is stored as well.
Retention period
We automatically delete contact form messages after 365 days. Correspondence subject to commercial or tax retention obligations may be kept longer.
Every message from the form also reaches us by email. Even when the message is deleted from the database, the copy in our mailbox remains subject to our own retention.
Hosting and error logs
The website runs on a hosting provider's server. Error logs are kept so that technical faults can be fixed; they may contain IP addresses and are deleted after 90 days.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies. No analytics tool tracking your visit is embedded either. That is why you are not asked for cookie consent.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16), erased (Art. 17) or its processing restricted (Art. 18), to receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20), and to object to processing (Art. 21). An email to the address above is sufficient.
Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). In Germany this is the authority of the federal state in which the company is established.
